Success Factors for a turn back
For each second of delay, the aircraft is more than 100 ft further away and loses more altitude.
Return path length and altitude loss are substantially greater for turns less than 210 degrees.

This past week George and the software were featured in the Winona Daily news with a great write up of the software and our goals for it.
Big thanks to the the FAASTeam in recording and sharing the presentation. For those who missed it or would like to relive it, check out the link below!
Make sure you catch George's presentation and the official debut of TwoTen Degrees on March 13, 2024.

Our primary source of runway and airport data comes from AviationWeather.gov.
However, their data feeds does not include the Latitude and Longitude coordiates for the runways. To get these, we use the free database provided by OurAirports.com which can be found at Ourairports-data
Reach out to our friends at OurAirports.com. Twice a month we update our databases from theirs.
We greatly appreciate the interest in supporting our project. The time and resources put into the applications and website is all done at our own personal expense.
